Abstract: Materials & Methods: The present study was conducted on autopsies of sudden deaths due to coronary artery atherosclerosis of both genders. The degree of atherosclerosis was taken as the percentage of the cross-sectional area of occlusion of the lumen at the maximum point of occlusion of the respective artery.
