Dental tissues are typically kept even after a person has been reduced to bones, deteriorated, burnt, or dismembered. Several techniques have been developed to determine a person's age, sex, and ethnicity using dental tissues. Information collection techniques and supporting technologies have undergone significant advances in forensic dental identification.
